Memorial Day
Today we honor all who came before us, every soldier who gave their blood, sweat and lives to defend our rights. Today I remember the members of my family who have fought and died for our country and way of life. Today, we are under attack from those who would take our rights away. For those who have served in our military, and those who have had family who served or now serve in our military, I personally thank you for your service. This is truly the greatest country in the World and I am proud to be an American. We must continue to fight for the rights in our Constitution and be a place of refuge for those running from oppression. As Americans we are The light in the world. It is time we stand up and take pride in what we have been given, continue the message of freedom and rights as people and we must carry the tourch of light so those who are looking can find true freedom. Today on Memorial Day, I will remember what our founding fathers wrote, I will remember what my Grandfather used to tell me. "Bobby, it doesn't matter what you want to be, it doesn't matter what someone else wants you to be. The only thing that matters, is that you become what you were born to be and you do it with Character." Today I am doing that. This year I will take the first step to bring our government back to the people and back to common sense.
As Alexander Hamilton Stated,
"Those who stand for nothing, will fall for anything"
