For anyone who would believe that I support a plan to fire teachers and reduce the money going to education, let me just say one thing, MY WIFE, MOTHER IN-LAW, MANY FRIENDS, AND SUPPORTERS ARE TEACHERS. Now think about it. Education is very dear to my heart. I support teachers, children and the Jefferson County School system.

It seems in the latest attempt to discredit my motives; my opponent’s backers have begun to say that I want to defund law enforcement. That is entirely incorrect and once again you may call me and ask for yourselves, and I was arrested 22 years ago and not convicted. This was when I was 19. I have been called a thief and many insinuations have been made about my character and my life. For those of you, who have read this material, please contact me if you have any questions. There is nothing to hide and the opposition is absolutely horrendous for allowing these lies to be spread about me. Oh, and I was HONORABLY DISCHARGED. How dare they.

My positions are firm, and they are backed with character and ethics.

My name is Eric McBride and I wish to address some of the nasty things said about Robert Ramirez. Now first let me start out saying that I am not a member of the Republican Party and like many people worried about the future aspects of our state. I have known Robert Ramirez for 7 years, and though I do not see eye to eye with him as to his political outlook, I can say something about his character.

Robert Ramirez is one of the most honorable men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. What I am telling you comes from experience. Many people have friends but few have friends that when they say they will do something they always do, and I mean always come through. I challenge anyone to count the number of people you know, that you can say has never let you down, that you would trust with not only your own life but that of your family. He is a very concerned man about education and law enforcement beyond what all politicians say, and he is very outspoken in his endorsement of them. Robert Ramirez has one major trait that if everyone in congress had, we would not have the problems we do today, and that is integrity. It is his greatest strength. So strong is this trait that if an opposing view was presented to him with convincing evidence Robert Ramirez would endorse that view with all his heart. How many politicians can you say would do that? I do not say that lightly for I have seen it happen in person. So strong do I believe this that if I was a politician from a different party from a different district I know I could count on Robert Ramirez in his unfailing level of integrity. The only problem with being a man of such caliber is that many, of those who are left wanting for such a trait, wish nothing more than to bring him down. Those are the worst of people that we have to share this planet with.
So I would ask everyone to check there own conscience about what kind of traits you would wish to have as a candidate and go from there.
